That's okay work week, just go ahead and leave! I doubt though, you'll find another fan like me. While most people out there look forward to the weekend all week long, I'm one of the few that appreciate the work week. So go ahead take all your prime time TV shows with you and bring on the big crowds at every public place I could possibly go with the kids. Maybe I'll pick up a few hours at the deli this Saturday, or find time to pack for our move coming soon, maybe I'll actually go to church this Sunday because it's no longer colder than balls outside and I have ONE good outfit to put on my fat butt. That's fine, you'll be back!

Tropical Fruit
Holy Cow, I really didn't mean to let an entire week go by without blogging. Well, it's a Monday and that means it's time for a little "My Monday". Today is the update on baby Mickey. Today marks the 23rd week of pregnancy bliss. It really has been an easy and enjoyable pregnancy. Much like my pregnancy with Reese and Logan, I really wasn't terribly nauseous in the beginning and the rest of the time I've just been growing and much like my pregnancy with Logan and Brooke (very much unlike with Reese) I've been gaining weight at a nice rate. Today I went to the doc for a little check-up. Heart rate for baby was good, in the 150's and I weighed 142lbs, that's about 20 lbs since September. I'm good with that. I have roughly 4 months left and I hope not to gain more that 15lbs between now and then...we'll see.
By now, at 5 months preggers, the fetus size is comparable to a papaya. Average size: 10.5-11.8 in, and weighing in at 12.7-20.8 oz. It's so amazing to what baby is up to in the womb. At this point baby is able to hear outside nosies well and studies show that gentle music and mommas voice are smoothing sounds for him/her. The face is fully formed and sleep cycles have begun as well, snoozing about 12 to 14 hrs a day. I sure wish that rule "sleep when baby sleeps" applied right about now!
I feel baby Mickey often throughout the day and I've bee able to put either Jeremy or one of the kids' hands on my belly for them to feel too. Yesterday, Jeremy and I saw my belly "jump".
Well, it's back to the autotrader website to do more research of what kind of new car we should get. Jeremy is all about getting an Expedition because it has 4 wheel drive. While I think it's a pretty important feature to have, I don't really think is outweighs the fact that gas ain't cheap! It's gonna take more to fill the Expedition than to fill up a van. Yes, I'm considering a spacious and groovy (hahahaha) van. The room those things have are A-Mazing. I love the automatic doors and finally they are better on gas which looks like is only going up in price. I think I'll put up a new poll for yall to take. Help us out!

Happy Valentines Day!!
This is my homemade Valentines gift to Jeremy this year. I got the idea from Sister's Stuff. I'm pleased with how it turned out. It wasn't much, but Jeremy seemed to really like it.
I wrote messages for the kids this morning on their toaster strudels

Movin' on up!
This weekend was a pretty typical weekend for me and the kids. Jeremy had to work Friday and Saturday so the kids and I were on our own like most weekends. Friday nights I usually take the kids out to eat somewhere. We've done Panerra Bread a couple of times and often we go to Subway. We'll pretty limited due to the ratio of parent to child and I don't really go for fast food much anymore. But this weekend we stayed in for a little Hamburger Helper. I know what your thinking, ewww. I usually think the same thing, that I'm not really in the mood for it and yet it seems that every time I make it, we all eat it up and I usually end the meal thinking "that was pretty good". I think in the end, there's really nothing wrong with a little Hamburger Helper every now and again.
Saturday I was pretty moody and didn't feel like doing much of anything, which is a shame because we don't really do anything all week. I'm not really sure why I've been feeling pissy lately, but I have. Soooo, I did a little grocery shopping bought a few things to make the hubs a mini cheesecake for Valentines Day, bathed the kids and tucked them into bed. I felt better Sunday morning but by 9:30am I began to grow irritated with Jeremy because he, in my opinion, was taking advantage of sleeping in. By lunch time I had had my fill of people, strangers, kin, it really didn't matter. I took off in the car made to McDonalds and yes ordered the #4 value meal, the best one by the way and proceeded to stuff my fat pregnant face. Yes, it did make me feel better. I haven't had fast food in at least a month. It's not like I was fighting the craving by any means, but it still felt good to indulge and be alone in the car. By the time I got back to the house, it was almost time for Jeremy and I to leave again to look a house for rent. I had been looking forward to this all week! It's a duplex and not originally want Jeremy were hoping for but at this point beggers can't be choosers.
Long story short, the house was great. Has just enough room for us, beautiful home, great yard, the landlords are extremely sweet and the price was right too! Jeremy and I took about 10 min to discuss it after we left from looking at it and I called back this evening to confirm that we wanted it. Where do I sign, what do you need? I'm so excited! Because the owners are in the process of buying a new home we will have to wait until April to move in. It was a little bit of a disappointment, but I really am so happy to find something that it really doesn't matter. And there is always a chance the move in date could get moved up to sooner. Fingers crossed!!

Just to make it clear, Jeremy and I aren't finding out the sex of this child due in June, but regardless of the sex, the middle name will be Cameron...that's right in honor of the one, the only Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC home of the Cameron Crazies, Coach Krzyzewski and his magnificent basketball team year, after year, after year, after year........

My Mondays
Well, I'm back online and so is "My Mondays". Today marks the 21st week of pregnancy and I can officially brag that I'm in the home stretch. I'm usually pretty content at the stage of my pregnancy. Any nausea or sickness has long passed, and I'm noticeably pregnant. I find it kinda annoying to be slowly but surely getting "too big for my britches" while rounding the end of the first trimester and yet it's not quite noticeable to others...all they notice is that I might be adding a couple of lbs at this point. Booooo!
According to the site I'm following, last week at 20 weeks the baby was about the size of a cantaloupe. Average size of about 6.5in and 10.6oz. At this point last week, the baby's digestive system was very busy producing meconium (it's the dark tarry stuff that fills the diaper after birth) And the baby's genitals have been fully formed, not that Jeremy and I found out...or did we? No, we didn't although I did have an anatomy ultra sound done last week but, I'm keeping the sex a secret...even from myself.
Okay, this week. 21 weeks and now the size of a...banana? Sounds a little backwards to me but you have to think of in terms of actual measurements. At this point the baby is about 10.5in and 12.7oz. That's some impressive growing in just a week! What's the fetus up to, you ask? Well I'll tell you. He/she is staying hydrated by gulping several ounces of amniotic fluid. The neat part, his/her taste buds are working! This means that if baby is already used to me eating good, healthy foods now, then he/she will be interested in those same taste after birth. I hadn't realized that in my previous pregnancy. Although, my kids aren't terribly picky, they all can be from time to time. So, I think from this point on I will try to give baby a wide range of taste while consistently eating good veggies and fruit. I have been very good about eating salads lately. It's just something I've been in the mood for during the last 2 weeks. I've mainly been eating mandarin organes, fetta cheese, sometimes cherry tomatoes on top of a spring mix with snow peas and a little oil and sweet vinegar as dressing. Hope that helps later ;)

Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!
GO PACKERS!!!
I don't really care that much about football, but for as long as I've known my husband he's been a Green Bay fan and thus, so am I! Unfortunately for Jer, he got one of his famous for interrupting, and ruining whatever he's doing, migraines just before half time so he didn't get to actually see his team take the trophy :( But I watched it for him and felt confident the whole time they'd take the win!! Go Packers!!
Being a wife and mother of 3 however, automatically makes me THE Multi-Tasker of our household sooo, while watching the game, I got kids ready for bed, put them to bed, which for a little insight into my life, is no easy task. Logan conveniently has to use the potty 17x after being tucked in, Reese has a stomach ache at the very same time and Brooke lays in her crib shouting various comments to various family members. Got the kitchen and play room cleaned up and when that was done, I got one my computer for a little" wind-down" time. I checked out my friend Tammy's blogspot (http://www.thetheisstory.bolgspot.com) and she has also posted a web site from another blogger, Sister's Stuff. Such cute crafty ideas! So cute, I can't believe she post stuff like that for people like me to just steal her ideas! Love the site Tammy!
Earlier today, Reese , Logan and I went to a birthday party. Very fun, went to Monkey Joe's. I had heard of it but had never taken the kids there before. The kids had so much fun. It's a building that has 6 or more inflatable (big) jumping gym things. We had pizza, and cake and all that good ol' birthday stuff and the kids played their hearts out. It makes think of home though. Before Brooke was born, I would take Reese and Logan to Jumping Beans in Cary or Hoppers House in Apex. Both places were much like the place we went to today just on a slightly smaller scale. I have good memories of hanging out with my girl friends and their kids at Jumping Beans and Hoppers House and eating in Cary, NC is always good for me :)
Hope that everyone has had a good weekend!

I'm back
Well, it's been almost a week since my baby, Rosie left us. We are still missing her (especially at night) but it's fair to say that we are doing much better. It's one of those things you get through much easier with the support of your spouse.
Anywho, on a much lighter note, here are some pictures of our Valentines that we are sending out to family and friends. Valentines Day has never been a big deal for me. But a couple of years ago I watched a good friend of mine enjoy the holiday with her girls and her attitude totally changed mine. I now look forward to it a little, and I totally have fun with Valentines. In fact, I think of Athena alot around this time of year. I know this is one of her favorite holiday's and I imagine how her house is decorated and the fun things she's planned to do with her girls this month.
Happy Valentines Day everyone!
